Yggdrasil - The World Tree

This is my interpretation of Yggdrasil, the World Tree from Norse Mythology. 
I always loved the the tales of old Norse and have always wanted to create a piece of art depicting it. 
For this work, I used Clarisse 5 in combination with a paint over in photoshop to help create an ethereal mood to the piece.
